Hello everybody,
We have a Bruker DRX400 that has problems with very strong parasites in the
C13-region, that make it impossible to obtain a decent C13 spectrum. It's
not simple a spurious signal at some frequency inside of the C13 range;
rather, there's noise in a region of hundred(s) of kHz around the 100 MHz
region. According to my predecessor it's a local radio-station.
Has anybody suggestions/solutions/experience with such a situation ?
I'd like to get rid of the parasites, in order to be able to do direct
detected C13-experiments on this instrument. Bruker's technician suggested
raising the field sufficiently to move the resonance frequency out of the
toubled region. Anybody done that ?
Thanks,
Reiner
