Dear all,
after a lot of struggle and thanks in part to the brilliant tutorial by
Sameer (thanks again!!!) for setting up Topspin on VMWare we finally
have our AvanceII console running with Topspin 3.2 on Centos5 running on
Oracle VirtualBox 7.2.6 running on a computer with AlmaLinux9.
However, sporadically, the console completely loses connection to the
computer.
We can either restart both the console and the computer and then
everything works for a while (roughly 8 days). Or we just pull the
ethernet cable going to the console, after that we have the connection
reestablished but not everything in the console can cimmunicate. So we
have to reboot via telnet spect and init 6 and then everything works
again (in our hands only for 24h though).
Does anyone have an idea what the problem might be?
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated and best regards, Andre
PS: Nobody ever had problems with superhuge icons in TS2.1 running on
VMWare???
