The LHe situation appears to be getting quite bad very fast. Suppliers are
already sending out notices of Force Majeure freeing and/or limiting them
from contracted supply obligations with their customers.
One supplier cites specifically “ongoing conflict in the Middle East,
the subsequent closure of the Strait of Hormuz, QatarEnergy’s complete
suspension of its LNG and Helium production, and other associated supply chain
issues have impacted the supply of Product.”

Anyone have facts about how the helium supply will be changed due the recent
shut down of LNG in Qartar? Will Russia and Germany be able to make up the
difference? Has critical frastructure been hit? I assume rationing and a
price spike are already in place?
