Brian,
did you change the base frequency of the spectrometer recently and were
cloning/re-using old data sets? Because that is one case in my
experience where edasp and save without making any change will get the
frequencies in the dataset reset. But that should not effect automation
or reading new parameter files. Those need to be converted with the
expinstall/paracon command executed after the change, but that command
will not change existing datasets.
