> Subject: [AMMRL] Magnets 45th birthday
Dear spinlanders,
today is the 45th birthday of our 400MHz magnet, we call him “Bruno”.
One of our PhD students made a cake for Bruno’s birthday party this afternoon,
I have attached a photo of magnet with cake.
This magnet was energized March 27 in 1979, it had a quench in December 1989 and
was moved in summer 2019.
Decommissioning of the system is planned for next month.
Best Regards
Thomas
