My colleagues called our 300MHz Bruker ultrashield Bruno, which we let
discharged this Monday at the age of 16.
It was installed at least 4 times. It might happen that we will need to
reinstall it again in 1-2 years.

Dear spinlanders,
today is the 45th birthday of our 400MHz magnet, we call him “Bruno”.
One of our PhD students made a cake for Bruno’s birthday
party this afternoon, I have attached a photo of magnet with cake.
This magnet was energized March 27 in 1979, it had a quench in December
1989 and was moved in summer 2019.
Decommissioning of the system is planned for next month.
