This position is in NMR section of Department of Medicinal- and Analytical Chemistry of Medivir company in Stockholm, Sweden
Position is available immediately starting from the 1Apr2013 till 31Aug.
Temporary NMR Specialist
We are searching for a colleague for a temporary position as NMR specialist covering a parented leave at the Department of Medicinal- and Analytical Chemistry from 1st of April to 31st of August. The successful applicant will support the medicinal chemists with structure characterization work. The department is equipped with both Bruker and Varian spectrometers.
We are looking for someone with:
§ PhD in chemistry or physics related to NMR spectroscopy or equivalent experience (at least 2 years) from academia, biotech and/or pharmaceutical industry.
§ Experience with small molecule structure validation and understanding of organic chemistry.
§ Experience in Protein related NMR work will be essential.
§ Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and to collaborate with Medicinal- and Analytical Chemists, project managers, IT department.
