AMMRL members,
Ten years ago we did a survey of LHe and LN2 pricing (still accessible
at
http://www.chem.wisc.edu/~cic/nmr/LHe-LN2_costs.html), which was very
helpful in dealing with supply issues we had here at the UW. Many
others also benefited from that survey. Similar issues have once again
arisen here, and I am hopeful that the group will again assist.
If you are willing, please respond with:
1. your cost LHe per liter:
2. whether you obtain credit for any unused LHe; if not, please provide
the dewar size you purchase:
3. your cost LN2 per liter:
4. charges for dewar rental, or other charges:
5. whether it is ok to identify your location (city) in the summary:
The last could be important, as the previous survey found a correlation
of costs to distance from supplier.
I will gladly summarize the results to the group.
Thanks,
Charlie
