Probe Material

Dear AMMRL,

I broke the ceramic part at the end of a probe. It is the circular
piece that holds the end of the dewer and xmittr coil in place.

My machinist friend says that he can easily make a new one. However,
ceramics are hard to work with. I noticed some polymer endpieces on
some other probes. What material can we use to make a new part? I
heard Teflon is usable.
