Assistant Facility Manager
The High-Field Biomacromolecular Solution NMR Core Facility (Academia
Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan) has an opening for Assistant Facility Manager.
The position requires a Ph.D. with knowledge of NMR methodologies and
computational skills. General responsibilities include
(1) Maintain (install, upgrade) all software packages for NMR data
analysis,
automation and structure calculation and analysis.
(2) Develop new software packages for biomolecular NMR applications.
(3) Assist and train users with software packages.
(4) Develop and maintain the homepage for core facility.
The Assistant manager will assist the facility manager in operating the
core facility to support Taiwanˇ¦s National Genomic Medicine
research projects. The core facility will maintain six spectrometers,
two each at 800, 600 and 500 MHz (www.nmr.ibms.sinica.edu.tw). Salary
will be commensurate with experience and will be comparable to that of
an Assistant Professor in Taiwan. Please send curriculum vitae and three
