NMR Spectroscopist Position:
The Campus NMR Facility at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri
has an opening for a NMR spectroscopist. This position may be filled as soon
as a suitable candidate is found.
BS in physical or biological sciences with two years of relevant experience
is required. A MS degree is preferred. Duties include performing
spectrometer maintenance, providing technical assistance on spectrometer
operations to users, training users, occasionally running samples for users,
setting up non-routine experiments, and maintaining detailed documentation
of spectrometer usage, repair and maintenance records and operating
procedures. Ability to perform basic trouble-shooting, use of oscilloscope
and knowledge of UNIX desirable. Experience with either Bruker or Varian
