Patrick,
We have a Unity, and are using portions of glidepack (various
sequences with the related macros, including NOESY1D, TOCSY1D,
HOMODEC, gHMQC, gHSQC, gHMBC, gCOSY, and others (but less
frequently). Much of glidepack is compatible with any Unity,
but it depends on your specific hardware. We have PFG and
waveform generators, so for us most everything is compatible.
Even so, our hardware is more limited than on an Inova, and I
had to directly modify sections of the NOESY1D and TOCSY1D
sequences to get them to work. So there are some issues for
some sequences. You have to look specifically at the various
hardware statements in each experiment to determine compati-
bility, but typically the sequences assume as basic a hardware
setup as possible. I don't believe there's any way around
doing as Varian suggests: try the portions you need and see
if they work. I highly recommend limiting the setups to allow
only the experiments that you have tested and therefore know
will work correctly.
