QE-300 VT unit

Today the VT unit on our QE-300 went belly-up. Of course this always
happens during the busy part of the year. This was our only hands-on unit
which puts us in a bad spot VT wise now.

The unit is refusing to except commands from the keyboard/software and when
it does it runs away and will not stay at setpoint. It will keep going up
or down depending on the temp. setpoint. During this process it will
suddenly go to zero on the monitor and dashed-line on the VT unit display.
When the unit is turned off then on it reads the temp. again. Unless
someone can enlighten us it will take Larry some time to track this problem
down. I am hopeful that there was an old VT unit out there we could
borrow, buy or just take of your hands. This would put us back in
operation until our current unit is repaired. I am open to any plan that
will get us back in operation.
