Hi,
before operating your amplifier any further, please check whether
- both rear fans are still working (mand remove any extra fine mesh that may
be between the fan and its grill - this stuff is known to get clogged by dust,
leading to overheating of internal parts
- the voltage regulator produces 28-29 V and NOT 65 V - measure it at the red/black
cables going in to both RF amp bricks (best to unplug both bricks before the measurement).
65 V means at least one of the voltage regulator‘s transistors is shot - this is the
typical cause for broken amplifiers (in turn very often triggered by a defective fan leading
to overheating). If you measure 65 V, don’t plug the amplifier bricks back in or use
the amplifier - you risk killing the other brick as well (unless this is a single-brick AMT only anyway).
