If you can re-use the old Network card - the one currently used to communicate
with the console, then the original licence will probably work.
Bruker softwares will also work with the so-called spectrometer licence.
When the software detects a console, even without a valid flexlm licence,
it will switch to a kind-of dedicted acquisition licence.
Few years ago, I upgraded from Xwinnmr to topspin 2.1 (SGU Avance I for solid
architecture), and from Windows Xp to CentOS 6 under the spectrometer licence.
TS 2.1 is the highest software level working with old SGU architecture.
