If your goal is to upgrade to a modern computer, the best option for you is
to install a linux OS (ubuntu for example), create a virtual machine, install
CentOS 5 / Win XP and TS1.3. It should work flawlessly.
Actually I heard the final system will react faster because of the benefits
of a modern CPU/GPU.
This way you'll have all security updates, your IT will be happy, you
can share the data partition over the network, etc.
But still stuck with the old TS1.3

Topspin 1.3 pl10 is the last version of software that can be used with a DRX console.
The most "modern", but also out of support, OS is CentOS5.
Newer operating systems have not been validated with this vintage of hardware.
Your instrument was produced in 1997 and we ended the sales of DRX consoles
in 2002 and provided official support until 2016.
