It is with deep regret that I inform you of the sudden passing of our dear friend and colleague Chris Jones. Chris worked for Agilent / Varian for 33 years, the majority of which as USA and America's Customer Services Manager for NMR and MRI systems. I am sure that many of you will miss Chris' enthusiasm, personality and dedication to achieve ultimate customer satisfaction and know that he has many customers both past and present that regarded Chris as a good friend. Chris will be missed by us all at Agilent.
Below is a message from Chris Jones' family, I will distribute information with regard to funeral arrangements at a later time:
This past week Christopher Jones passed away suddenly and unexpectedly of natural causes. Chris started with Varian in August 1979 and has worked in the NMR community since. Arrangements are being made for his viewing and memorial. Dates, times, and location will be communicated when everything is scheduled. Anyone wishing to attend the funeral arrangements is welcome to do so. Condolences can be sent to Chris' wife Sharon Carkhuff at 7938 Ashford Blvd Laurel, MD 20707.
