Subject: AMMRL: magnet drift spec

Hi all,

The magnet drift rate is an important parameter for us to evaluate the
quality of the magnet. Naturally it is tended to think that the resonance
peak will drift to a lower field with the time. Recently a Varian MR400 was
installed and the drift spec is great (0.4Hz/hr) for the Magnex magnet.
However, the resonance peak drifts around its original position instead of
one way to the lower field , thus the trace of the resonance looks like "S".
I dont know if the drift of our magnet behaves well. Your experience or
insights will be highly appreciated!
