Dear ammrl members,

We have a 10-years old Bruker DRX500 console. Recently the AQX rack lost its power and we got replacement power supply modules (one for 5V and one for 12V) as well as a supervisor board. The power came back and the fans are all working fine. The only problem now is the "tcuerror" so no experiment can be run. We "telnet" into spect and did the system test, TCU board failed the test while all other boards passed. Bruker sent us another TCU and it failed the test too with same error. We put this new TCU in another DRX console and it is fine. This seems to indicate that our problem is in the AQX chassis. We double checked the voltages on the back plane and all are fine except the 5V is actually 5.05V. Bruker is not concerned about this, but I wonder if that could cause the TCU board problem. We also moved the TCU boards (main board and the extension board together) to different slots (we have a 20 slots chassis) and switched the jumpers on the back plane correctly, but the system now can't find the TC
U at all therefore the "cf" command runs forever trying to load the TCU. If anyone have seen similar problem could you share your experience? All suggestions are welcome.

Thanks for your time.
