The Department of Chemistry at California State University, Northridge
invites applications for the position of NMR Facilities Specialist. The
salary for this 12-month part-time (20 hrs/week) position will be from
$21,000-$31,000, depending on qualifications. The opportunity for an
additional part-time instructional position also exists (M.S. degree
required). The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance
and operation of the department's two Bruker NMR spectrometers (AC 200 and
DRX 400). Additional duties will include training student and faculty
users. Minimum requirements include a B.S. degree and at least three years
of practical NMR experience (experience with Bruker systems is preferred).
