Hello Spinlanders
Our system is now no longer functioning. I inserted a sample in CDCl3 this
morning with lock power set to 45. Initially, lock trace OK. After ca. 20
minutes, lock trace gone. Checked D3COD and DMSO-d6 as well. NG.
Proton line width went from normal to > 200 Hz. The resonance peaks look
like square waves.
Is it possible that the 10 MHz crystal oscillator in the synthesizer is no
longer stable? Is it possible to diagnose this problem with a 200 MHz
scope? We do not have a frequency counter here.
