Hello,
I have dealt with leaks at the junction of fill stack and rubber disk, but
not increased pressure inside the fill stack.
Does the tip of the new stinger look the same as the old? If not, perhaps adding
a liquid diffuser (or removing it) will help.
For leaks, I wrapped Teflon tape around the stinger tube right under the rubber
disk when it was warm to make a squishable O-ring. The quality of fills improved
a lot.
Best,
Anne Carroll
