Note--that link refers to a file on the EPU, not on the PC.
/opt/topspin/conf/instr/spect is a symbolic link on the EPU that points to the
topspin installation directory on the EPU (or SCU)

Can you verify if this exists and is pointed to the correct installation directory? If it
exists, but is still pointed to your 4.3 install, remove it with rm or unlink first.
Then you can (re)create it with:
ln -s /opt/Bruker/topspin4.4.0 /opt/topspin
You will want to verify the path to your TopSpin 4.4.0 directory and modify that command
as needed. --
