Avery Denison has an immediate opening for a NMR spectroscopist at the
Avery Research Center located in Pasadena, California.
The focus of this position involves applying NMR to solve a variety of
materials problems encountered in our company. The majority of samples we
work with are polymeric in form (i.e, adhesives, polymeric films, polymer
additives, etc) and we routinely utilize NMR for both problem solving and
characterizing raw materials and products developed at the Research
Center. The person is responsible for maintaining and administering the
400MHz FTNMR system. In addition, the person has the opportunity to get
involvement in product development projects as well as projects to develop
new analytical methods for studying important product parameters. Attached
