The gold question reminds me...

Reading my father's hearing aid manual it mentions not going near MRI or NMR
instruments with one in place. -- Interesting that they were smart enough to
mention NMR. But does anyone know anything about this? It's the first I've heard
of such an issue. Is it the electronics in the hearing aid?
