NMR Lab Manager
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Missouri
St. Louis invites application for a full-time Manager of its NMR
Facility. A 12 month salaried position, the Manager provides user
training, collaborates in research through the design and execution of NMR
experiments, provides service work to local companies, maintains and
repairs equipment, administers the instrument schedules and facility
budget, and participates in grant applications to upgrade and replace
instrumentation. The Facility serves a wide variety of users and houses a
Bruker ARX500, a Bruker Avance 300, and a Varian Unity Plus 300 with liquid
and solid state capabilities. Additional information about the Department

Successful applicants will have a PhD with emphasis in NMR spectroscopy;
those with a BS or MS with equivalent experience will also be
