Hi,
As part of our He liquefication system we have a 250-liter CryoFab transfer
dewar that utilizes a 3/4” liquid access port assembly. There are a series
of ferrules that attach to the top, stepping down from 3/4” to 5/8” to 1/2”
to 3/8” depending on the O.D. of the line you fill/withdraw liquid with.
The O-rings that fit these ferrules wear out, and I have a hand-me-down set
of bags of replacement O-rings. These work but sometimes they
seem a little small and I’m trying to avoid ordering multiple options to
find a better fit. There is a breakdown diagram on the CryoFab website,
but it does not specify the exact size of the O-rings. Has anyone found a
size they are happy with and could provide me a McMaster-Carr or Grainger
part number? The only numbers I have are PN -114 NBR 50 for the 5/8”
ferrule; 70-buna size 2.5x12 for the 1/2” ferrule; and 70-buna size 012
for the 3/8” ferrule.
Thanks,
John
