Hi Beth,
I also had issues with topshim last summer on my AVIII (TS 3.6.5). Not identical
to your descriptions, but symptom severity clearly followed sample quality and
solvent choice. Discussions arrived at a similar hypthesis of poor sino during
topshim scans. In my case recent hardware tinkering had affected the deuterium
pulsewidth. Recalibrating the 2H 90 immediately brought topshim back to normal
behavior.
