I just thought I'd chime in that the mounting hardware and vertical post are
kind of specific to what magnet it's installed on. If whoever wants it
doesn't need those and you're willing to do a bit of work fishing cables out,
it would definitely be simpler to pack and ship just the carousel and the horizontal arm.
It is a bit of work to get the carousel off--there are a bunch of cables you have
to disconnect inside and make sure that they're all shoved out of the way before
you can lift it up off the column. If you can shove those either down or
up the column you can get them out of the way.
The advantage would be--if you do some disassembly you've got a couple of smaller
things to ship that are easier to pack to prevent shipping damage.
Cheers,Mike

Hello!
We recently upgraded our BACS-120 to a SampleJet. I need to
get this thing out of the lab. It was working okay before we pulled it
off the magnet. Occasional hiccups but its around 20 years old so not
unexpected.
Anyone want it before it goes in the trash? I've got about 1 week before
classes start. You will need to arrange shipping from Notre Dame IN.
