I second the earlier suggestion to use 59Co to confirm/rule out the temperature
stability part - there really is no place to hide with this. See the attached
for a pseudo-2D of K3[Co(CN)6]/D2O with bad temperature control at "298" K and
an oscillation of ~0.5 K peak to peak. This was a 15 minute experiment with a
two-scan spectrum every 10 seconds, so you can sample really fast and convince
yourself of what's going on or not.
