Hello
We have two post-doc positions available in the NMR Core. EPR experience
is a plus but not required:
The Department of Chemistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
is seeking applicants for Postdoctoral Research Associate positions.
50% Research- Lab Operations
Promote the use of NMR and/or EPR spectroscopy including but not limited to
variable temperature and time resolved experiments through hardware, software
and procedure development. The individual will work with students to adapt NMR
and/or EPR to their research needs and collaborate with researchers.
50% Research- Technology Development
Laboratory Management: work with the staff in the core to support EPR and NMR
applications. Instrument maintenance including: cryogen fills, sample changers,
NMR probes and EPR resonators. Software support for EPR simulations and/or NMR
spectroscopy. Supporting helium recovery, training, and general lab support
are expected.
