Well I opened a service call in hopes of getting the board repaired. A service engineer called me. He looked up the part and said that they DID have it. So I ordered a refurbished board. I am supposed to be able to return my broken board for credit.
So- Agilent customer service says NO REF GEN and Agilent service engineer says YES REF GEN.
I wonder if the board will come?!

Subject: AMMRL: Reference Generator Board
Everyone:
The reference generator board has died on my Varian VNMRS-500 NMR. It is REF GEN II (Part# 01911636-00). Agilent does not have any in stock- (refurbished or new). Does anyone have any ideas on how to either repair this board, or how I can get it repaired?
