Dear All,
As part of our NMR service we are in charge of dispensing deuterated solvents and NMR tubes to staff members and students. We have a limited budget and therefore we also have limited supplies. I have tried to order based on the demand trend I have observed over the past few years. However, recently I've been getting some excessive demands from a few members of staff and their postgraduate students.
Do any NMR managers have experience with allocation of solvents to staff? Do you have any special methods for allocation of solvents based on the number of students and type of research they do?
I will appreciate any feedback.
