Dear AMMRL'rs
A very happy new year to all the AMMRL members.
I am looking for a better and problem free aircompressor for my AV300 NMR as my ordinary piston mode machine has become too much old enough to stand on to my expectations.
Although there was a post already appeared in AMMRL on the long run compatibility of air compressors, and as it was not much dwelled on the above subject, hence, I am re-requesting the experts/users in this site to critically comment on:
1. The advantage as well as disadvantages (if any) of recent invention scroll type air compressors over the ordinary piston displacement counterparts. How long are you using the scroll machine in your facility?
2. Is the scroll type air comprssors are proprietary item of Anest Iwata Motherson Ltd. Japan (the company agents claim that they are sole producers of scrolls in the world). If not, can you name and give the addresses of the others who are manufacturing them.
I will be greatful to all those who will respond to this mail and I will post a summary if any interesting responses come out.
Sincerely
