Bucknell University has a Bruker ARX 300 NMR spectrometer which needs a new
home.

specs:

two channels (broadband and proton), and deuterium lock channel

two broadband tuneable probes; X{1H} direct and 1H{X} indirect

Bruker Spectrospin long-hold unshielded magnet, 7.05T (300.13MHz on proton)

temperature controller and liquid nitrogen evaporation system for wide
sample temperature range capability

computer workstation (SGI O2) with XWINNMR 2.6 spectrometer software

Best (now Powerware) 4.3kVA Ferrups UPS

This spectrometer is currently running and in use. We expect it will be
available sometime in March and we want to start remodeling the space it is
occupying by June.

Price: best offer

Buyer must have a reputable NMR servicing firm decommission and move the
spectrometer.

The spectrometer requires 208V/20A electrical service and a source of
clean, dry air or nitrogen. The five gauss fringe field radius is about 6
feet. Cryogen usage is one 160 liter dewar of liquid nitrogen every two
weeks (with weekly fills) and 60 liters of liquid helium every six to seven
months.
