When I did some H1-N15 gradient HSQC in the Varian unityINOVA 300MHZ
instruments. I found that I have problems to get siginals for amine types of
chemicals. Benzamide 2% inriched or natural abundance in d6-dmso with
0.2%CrAcAc worked just fine. Less than 10 minutes, I can get contours
in
the spectrum. But for benzamine, diethylenetriamine(DETA), I am not able to
get the signals for overnight.
I adjusted and/or expand the spectra windows to make sure that chemical
shift of amines will be in both H and N15. CrAcAc was added to shorten the
delay.
If you have some experience on running these types of chemicals, Can you
tell me if those 2D H1-N15 NMR would work for amine and hwo to make it work?
