Hi Frank,
I have seen more than one lab floor with multicolored flooring in a circle
to indicate the 5G line, in which the spectrometer had been moved or the
field increased so that the floor markings were no more than an irrelevant
distraction, nonetheless permanent.

Hello Everyone:

The response to the flooring question has been overwhelming. I have
tabulated the 40 responses at:

http://web.umr.edu/~fblum/nmr.flooring.html

There are pros and cons to each type of flooring. One interesting
aspect is to use different colors for parts of the floor at greater
or less than the 5G line.

Thanks to all of you.
Frank
