AMMRL,
I agree with Neil completely. We need more careful comparison data.
Here is my wife's story. We have one six years old son. He is healthy
and bright. When my wife was pregnant, she worked around a 500 MHz
magnet, but avoided changing samples and tuning probes. She had
premature labor at 30 weeks but controlled by bedrest and medicine. She
carried our son to term in bed. Before her second pregnancy, she got a
new job. With this job, she works with several 400 MHz magnets. She
works much closer to magnets. She changes samples and tunes probes.
Since then, she had three miscarriages and one stillbirth. She has seen
several specialists. They could not find any cause. Does magnetic
field have something to do with her miscarriages? We don't know but
wonder.
