We still need speakers/discussion leaders for the meeting at ENC on
Tuesday 11 Apr 2000:
Incorporating NMR into Undergraduate Labs- could use one more
speaker (15 minutes)
Discussion Groups- most need a discussion leader (just share
experiences/ask questions/take notes)
Facility/User Interactions- scheduling, training, priorities
This needs a discussion leader!
Billing, accounting, audits
This could use another discussion leader (I currently have one
person in two places!)
Computer Security
This needs a non-SGI person to discuss/share experiences.
New Instrument Purchase- obtaining grants / instrument evaluation
This needs a discussion leader!
Simulation Software
Needs a discussion leader!
Automation- test procedures, setups, gradient shimming
Needs a discussion leader!
Leading a discussion group is a very low-pressure way to add a
personal touch to the ENC. Just think how "lead a discussion group
at the Association of Managers of Magnetic Resonance Labs meeting"
will look on that trip report!
