Luke - an interesting question. I’m curious to see what others
have to say.
My basic understanding is that your magnets are going to flow based on the
pressure differential across each magnet’s one-way valve. If
the system is truly closed such that the downstream conditions are static,
I don’t see how your magnet boil-off could be influenced by the
atmosphere.
Are you also recovering gas from a mobile dewar with boil-off influenced by
atmospheric pressure? If yes, then I could envision this varying gas load
having some indirect influence on flow from the magnets.
