Re: [AMMRL] Bruker communication / Syntax error from AQS3 (AV2+)

Hi,

sorry, I should have been a bit more specific that my main problem is "cf"
getting stuck at the end of HPPR detection.

Anyway, starting to dig a bit deeper while searching for the source of that
problem I found these (as I thought) oddities like syntax errors and DRU
communication problems maybe these Unitool "issues" are all but red herrings
only (in the end "ha" appears to work just fine)…

Well, here are some more things I checked:

- checked all voltage test points inside the HPPR cover module: 3.3, 5.0, 9.0,
+18.8 and -19.2 V look quite OK to me. The 9 V is a bit less (8.8) if the extra
power cable isn't connected but it makes no difference.
- no errors in DRU log files other than "AQS1 power failure" which I guess
is normal after cold start
- 10 MHz sine and 20 MHz square signals from REF1 look fine (1-1.5 Vpp)
- reading BIS data in "ha" - AQS Hosted Devices - Overview seems to get all
BIS data just fine
- c:/Bruker/Topspin3.7.0/conf/instr/spect300 contains all three bis_hppr_C1/P1/P2
which look fine, created at the time I ran "cf"
- this is Topspin 3.7 on Windows 10
- I tried to install TS3.2 but in its cf it also gets stuck reading BIS from
HPPR/2 module P2

In cf (having only a dual 1H/2H module connected now) I see:
read preamplifier module configuration
read BIS from HPPR/2 module C1 … done
read BIS from HPPR/2 module P1 … done
read BIS from HPPR/2 module P2 …
(stuck here indefinitely)

When having a 1H-only module connected it gets stuck at P1, having three 1H/2H,
X and 1H-only modules connected it stops at P4 - so it's always the last module
which gets stuck.
I once left it on for a couple of hours but it keeps being just stuck, no error
message or anything.

So yes, I always have a 1H preamp connected. cf doesn't report tty for HPPR,
but uxnmr.info shows tty10.

Both on the cover module display as well as in Unitool I see all preamp modules
correctly.

Running out of ideas…

Cheers

Bert
