Bruker BioSpin has an immediate opening in its Fremont CA applications
laboratories for an
Applications Scientist High Resolution NMR.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our
applications team. The position requires Ph.D. or M.S. level chemists,
biochemists or physicists with extensive NMR experience. The degree
should be supported by several years of lab experience. Qualified
applicants will possess superior interpersonal and communications
skills, both verbal and written and will show strong computer
competencies. The successful candidate shows familiarity with a wide
variety of experiments. We are specifically looking for expertise in
spectroscopy and interpretation of small organic molecules, high
throughput NMR and potentially different solids state NMR applications.
Experience in development of NMR experiments is a plus.
The duties of this position include the implementation and demonstration
of experiments using our instruments. Customer support and interaction
through phone, e-mail and personal contact during site visits.
Conducting lectures, seminars and training programs in house and in the
field. Moderate travel is required. (Job reference 008/06)
