We have a problem with our Omega400WB imaging spectrometer. When starting
Omega, the following steps are done okay: initializing nmr command and
structset drivers, shim-dis-update, initializing script directories,
initializing omega file system. But then the following message appears:
"problem waiting for message". Instrument control software is not loaded
and no pulse sequence is loaded either. Also, no light comes on in the
monitor box on the side of F1 Observe.
I have checked all boards in the computer cabinet--system I/O, COMM PCB,
etc. and no problem with them. Omega software was reloaded. So, it looks
like a hardware problem.
Has anyone come across this problem? Any suggestions regarding what should
be checked and how will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
