I am curious as to how others in industry manage their synthetic support NMR
facilites to provide researchers immediate results (5-45min) while also
being sure that the instrument is utilized to its fullest potential.(24 hour
operation) We are currently using a walkup system for all of our support
instruments (>12). While this offers the chemists almost immediate results
during the day many of our systems are often idle at night and during the
weekends leaving me wondering if there is a better way to maximize the use
of our instrumentation. Your input is greatly appreciated and I will post a
summary after I receive a number of responses.
