Dear Friends at AMMRL,
The BB/HB AMT amplifier in our Inova-500 is putting out very low power (~6
Vpp with 63 dB plus external 30 dB attenuation at C13). Its proton module
and the other BB amplifier are doing fine. It is an AMT model 3900B-12
(-12 stands for both highband 200-500 MHz and broadband 6-220 MHz). I am
trying to replace just the BB module or the entire amplifier soon. Both
Varian and AMT have not called back with a good answer. I am wondering if
anyone has an extra amplifier (Varian & AMT P/N 0096944103) or simply the
BB module (Varian P/N 0099779101, AMT P/N 01509031) that can be donated or
sold to us.
What are my options other than AMT and Varian? Third party? refurbished ?
Thank you for your response.
Best regards,
Sandip
