TeamViewer considers academic use to the same as commercial, and will start
issuing annoying popups before very long. We moved on to AnyDesk (same problem)
and are currently on NoMachine but with Tailscale to handle the routing automagically.

Hi Weixing and fellow spinners
I am going a bit tangentially but I have started driving TeamViewer out
of necessity recently i.e. doing a whiteboard with Bruker support and also on
the PC running my benchtop NMR. If you are looking to do remote driving just
for yourself as the caretaker of the instrument, TeamViewer seems to be a great
solution, even with Linux platforms. For personal use, Teamviewer is still free
without any bells and whistles.
