AMMRL: problems installing openvnmrj 2.1 and centOS 7 on Varian 400MR

Hello Everyone;

I hope all of you are well.
We are installing a new host computer (ThinkStation) with centOS 7 and openvnmrj 2.1 on our Varian 400MR,
but have a couple of unresolved problems:

  1. The temperature is not controlled. On the back of the console the Temperature Error led is lit, and on the front of the console the third (from the top) led of the Gas Flow Sensor is also red (just prior to the installation this was NOT a problem).
  2. In Automation mode when a “New study” in the Study Queue is submitted the spectrometer will Find Z0; gradient shim; run the experiment(s);

save the data; and email the data; BUT it will not tune the probe (we have Dual ProTune) . However, you can tune the probe manually

(i.e., Tools•Probe Tuning•Auto Tune Probe•Tune Probe using a Medium criterion). (I had copied over the tune directory from the previous
computer that had cent0S 6 and vnmrj 4.2A .)
We would really appreciate any advice!
