Thanks for all the help. As many noted, this is apparently a well known bug
(studyq.j1119 ) and is fixed by removing /vnmrsys/presistence. In my case,
do to my level of inexperience, I did not feel confident enough to remove
something so, based on one person's suggestions, modified the QueuePanel
file by changing Show_Study_panel false into Show_Study_panel true. This
worked.
Ahh. Lessons learned.
