Dear NMR friends:
Merry Christmas to everyone!
We just bought a new Sun Blade 1500 with Solaris 9 and
patches installed as offline processing computer, the vnmr6.1C is
installed. However, we can not use the "rcp" command to copy data
files to this new computer from the Sun computers with solaris 8
running the instruments. There is no any security configured at this
point, which is just for the test. The following is the message (here
"hostname" is the name of the new Sun computer):
>rcp testfile hostname:/export/home/vnmr1
Protocol error, hostname.lms.mit.edu closed connection
Interesting is that we can use "rcp" to copy files from this new
computer to other Sun computer.
Does anyone have such experience in this and how to solve it?
