Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced NMR Spectroscopist who will assume
responsibility for structure elucidation beyond the level of routine
spectroscopic analysis for Pfizer's La Jolla Discovery Research
organization. A strong background in modern NMR methodologies is required.
Experience with flow-NMR techniques is desirable. Additional
responsibilities will include providing backup assistance and support for
the open access instruments and assisting chemists by providing appropriate
analytical experiment design strategies to quantitative as well as
qualitative problems in support of Discovery Research projects. The
successful candidate will have facility with NT and Unix-based operating
systems and software platforms.
Requires a Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related science. Excellent
interpersonal and analysis skills, a strong team orientation, and superb
